Fifteen Years of Enter Stage Right/Quince Años de Enter Stage Right

Since its inception, 24th STreet Theatre's mission has been to give a voice to the voiceless and bring excellent arts education to a Los Angeles community that otherwise may have never known the miracle of theatre. One of the ways in which we do this is through our Enter Stage Right field trip program, which gives elementary school children and teachers alike an experience that they'll hold on to for the rest of their life. Here are some excerpts from thank you notes we received for these efforts, which we hope you love as much as we do!

Desde el principio, la misión del 24th STreet Theatre ha sido de dar una voz a los no la tiene, y para llevar la educación artística a una comunidad de Los Angeles que de otro modo no habría conocido el milagro del teatro. Una de las maneras en las que logramos esto es a través de nuestro programa de excursiones escolares Enter Stage Right, la que da a los estudiantes y los maestros de la escuela primaria una experiencia inolvidable. Aquí presentamos algunos extractos de las cartas de agradecimiento que hemos recibido por estos esfuerzos, y esperamos que les encantan tanto a ustedes como a nosotros!

“Every aspect of the program -- the pre-workshop, Professional Development, and the field trip to your theatre -- was very impressive. In my 24 years of teaching, I’ve involved students in various outside programs and have taken them on numerous field trips annually. In all sincerity, I would have to say the experience with your theatre was by far one of the most exciting, engaging, enjoyable, and educational experiences for both students and adults alike. It has been about a month now since we visited with you, and my students are still talking about what they learned there.
