Join the 24th STreet “See First’ family! / Únanse a la familia “Ver primero” de 24th STreet!

Facebook is rolling out a new update to help you see the posts that are most important to you, which is to say, the posts of your friends and family!

As part of this update, posts by pages you like will be greatly reduced in your newsfeed.

Unfortunately, this means that when your friends and family at the 24th STreet Theatre post an update, Facebook will treat it like it came from any other page and you may not see it at all! Here’s how you can stay ahead of the curve and keep our updates on your news feed!

1.       Go to the page “24th ST Theatre,” and hover over the button that says “Following.”

2.       In the drop down menu that appears, click “See First.”

This will prioritize our posts in your news feed! Whenever we post, it will be the first thing you see – but luckily for you, once you’ve seen the post, your news feed will continue to show the posts from your loved ones that the new algorithm favors, so there is no risk of having your news feed bogged down  by posts you’ve seen a hundred times before.

Facebook se va a actualizar, cambio que les ayudará a ustedes a ver las publicaciones más importantes, o sea, las de sus amigos y de su familia!

Como parte del cambio, las publicaciones de las páginas que les gustan aparecerán con menos frecuencia entre las noticias.

Lamentablemente, esto significa que cuando la familia y los amigos que ustedes tienen en el 24th STreet Theatre publiquen algo, Facebook lo tratará como cosa de una página cualquiera y quizás ni se lo mostrará! Aquí les mostramos cómo se puede seguir viendo las publicaciones nuestras:

1.    Vaya a la página “24th ST Theatre,” y mantenga el cursor sobre el botón que dice “Siguiendo.”

2.    En el menu que aparece por bajo, haga click en “Ver primero.”

Esto priorizará nuestras publicaciones en las noticias de ustedes! Cuando publiquemos algo,será lo primero que ven – pero, por suerte, después de haber visto la publicación una vez, las noticias seguirán mostrando las de sus familiares y amigos según el algoritmo nuevo, y no hay riesgo de que las noticias se ahogan con las mismas publicaciones que ya se han visto.
