What is Brain & Creativity?

Our Brain & Creativity classes are a part of our partnership with the USC Brain and Creativity Institute’s EXCEL study. The program offers our youngest students the chance to participate in introductory after-school theatre classes for two years at no cost. Our classes ignite creative minds and impart lifelong skills for students who have had no prior arts education. As students progress through our program, researchers at USC use MRI technology to study how theatre education might affect developmental patterns in young minds.
