Outstanding Achievement in American Theatre Award!

24th STreet Wins National Theatre Award! All of us at 24th STreet are just thrilled about being presented the 2012 Theatre Communications Group Peter Zeisler Award for OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN THE AMERICAN THEATRE. This is a prestigious national award, named for a prestigious leader in non-profit theatre, with a prestigious group of past recipients. It was presented to Executive Director and co-founder Jay McAdams in Boston on June 23rd in front of theatre colleagues from all over the United States at the TCG conference. We’ll send you the video link to Jay’s acceptance speech when it becomes available on the TCG website. Thanks to our longtime colleague, Center Theatre Group’s Diane Rodriguez, who presented the award to Jay. And thanks to all of you, our audiences, our community members, the kids and families we serve, our artists, our funders, and our donors. We share this award with YOU, yes you, because 24th STreet would not be the magical place that it has become without each of you. 24th STreet is successful because of the greatness of spirit of those around us.
